The staff went really out of their way to help and answer any questions. Shown to room rather than just given a key. Breakfast was really good. Cocktails are served and there is a small restaurant.

The room quality was excellent with very polite morning staff serving a good brekfast.
The staff on reception were poor. I had to wait approx 10minutes to get served. The staff seemed more interested in serving thier freinds rather than customers and then persisting in talking to them. I will admit I checked in at a late time during a busy time but still the staff were poor at this.

The convenient location close to a metro station and convenience stores, as well as restaurants in the area, made our stay comfortable, and the incredibly helpful and caring staff were always there to assist us.

Nice seating area on the front to have a drink.
Shower mouldy. Toilet dripped all night. Unable to use tea/coffee facilities as cream off. Woke up at 2 am by someone banging on door, saying the room had been double booked! Decor old and tired. Had flood recently and damp smell remained. In fact had to walk through flood water to get out of hotel, as had rained that night.

Enjoyed a lovely breakfast at a centrally located restaurant near Jesmond Methodist Church with excellent service.

The location was unbeatable underneath a conservatory in a basement like area and the staff here was amicable. The lunch in Branches Jesmond next to the hotel had every choice imaginable. I loved the room, the bed was extremely comfy. A sofa bed, central heating and an iron/ironing board worked well.
